Leadership in the nonprofit sector feels harder now than it ever has. In this webinar, we’ll have an honest discussion about what it means to be an extraordinary leader today. Based on the idea that leadership is about intentionally influencing individuals, we’ll walk through 10 qualities of an extraordinary leader—from character and confidence to curiosity and courage—and what those look like in your day-to-day leadership.
We’ll also talk about the things that get in the way—complacency, confusion, and behaviors that prevent leaders and teams from being their best. My goal is to help you see yourself more clearly, challenge a few assumptions, and walk away with an improved sense of how you want to lead moving forward—with more clarity, confidence, and courage.

About Our Keynote Speaker
Joel Kessel is an executive coach and strategic advisor who helps nonprofits increase their impact through peer group executive sessions and one-one coaching, board and team retreats, and leadership development. Joel has spent his entire 25+ year career deeply connected to the nonprofit community. He has worked inside and advocated on behalf of nationally recognized organizations including the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Ronald McDonald House Charities, AirLifeLine, and the National Runaway Safeline, as well as numerous Ohio-based organizations.
