Brady Ware Announces Next Generation of Leadership

Next Generation of Leadership Announced at Brady Ware

(DAYTON, OH) – Brady Ware & Company announces their next generation of leadership through the implementation of the firm’s continuity and succession plans.

As Brady Ware continues to evolve to meet industry and client demands, so is the firm’s leadership structure. Effective July 1, 2023, Brady Ware has a new managing director as well as new leadership on the executive board and the Dayton office.

Brian Carr, CPA, and Jim Kaiser, CPA, who had served as the firm’s co-CEOs, will transition into client-focused and leadership advisory roles. Anita Anand, JD, has been appointed as the firm’s new managing director and will work closely with the executive board.

Having joined Brady Ware in 2016, Anand has focused primarily on federal, state, local and international tax clientele while helping build the firm’s tax practice. A licensed attorney, she works with both domestic and international companies across a broad range of industries including renewable energy, real estate, technology, manufacturing, and others.

“The reasons I joined Brady Ware are the same reasons I am excited about my role as managing director. We have tremendous people, talent, and opportunity to continue to help shape our client’s successes,” Anand said. “Having Brian and Jim’s vision, leadership, and wisdom to continue to serve our clients and Brady Ware will help us continue to expand on the opportunities ahead.”

As part of its succession plan, both Carr and Kaiser will remain focused on clients and to help lead the firm’s tax and audit and assurance practices, respectively. As part of the transition, they will also serve as advisors to the firm’s executive board.

As part of the expanded leadership changes, Todd Roberts, CPA, has been named to the executive board. A longstanding business leader in the Dayton community and Brady Ware employee for nearly 40 years, Roberts will continue his role in client service as well as helping direct the firm’s operational and strategic growth as a board member.

For the Dayton office, Patrick Rasey, CPA, has been named as the office managing director. In addition to his role on the executive committee, Rasey has been with Brady Ware for more than 18 years and will continue to serve clients on a variety of audit, advisory, and due diligence engagements.

“For over 16 years, it’s been an honor to lead Brady Ware. But, to leave it in the hands of our new generation of leaders, it is a tremendously positive situation for our clients, our firm and the opportunities ahead,” Carr said.
