Robert W. Evans

Bob specializes in business valuation, mergers and acquisitions, forensic accounting, economic damages, and litigation support services.

With experience in more than 100 engagements, Bob has worked across a broad range of industries including manufacturing, distribution, franchising, retail, restaurant and many professional services. His valuations have been used for many different purposes, including estate and gift taxation, partner buy-ins and exits, marital dissolution, shareholder disputes, economic damage and other matters. Bob also has forensic accounting experience in dozens of matters including records reconstruction, asset tracing and discovery, lost profits, malpractice and malfeasance.

Beyond valuations, Bob has provided tax planning and compliance for high-income and high-net-worth individuals. He also has experience with tax planning and compliance for business returns, including LLCs, C corporations, and S corporations up to $100 million in revenue. He also has experience with multistate income and sales tax nexus and compliance work, and international tax planning and compliance for foreign entities doing business internationally, including permanent establishments and income tax treaties.

Regarding litigation services, Bob has been recognized as a qualified expert witness in Ohio, Indiana, and California state courts and has provided deposition and court testimony involving marital property, business valuations, financial disputes, and lost profits.
