Aubrey specializes in business valuation, mergers and acquisitions, forensic accounting, economic damages, arbitration, and litigation and mediation support services.
Through his experience with his specialized areas including complex commercial litigation and business valuation, Aubrey has worked closely with clients in the successful acquisition, financing, valuation, due diligence and divestiture of their small and medium-sized businesses. He has been involved in helping counsel settle many matrimonial disputes regarding the valuation of more than 100 different small and medium-sized closely held businesses in a wide range of industries throughout North America. He also has significant experience working with clients buying and selling private post-secondary career colleges and international franchises.
He is an accomplished public speaker on a variety of business valuation, forensic accounting and litigation support topics. For more than 10 years he oversaw the professional business valuation program of studies of Canada’s professional Chartered Business Valuation Institute and prepared hundreds of business valuation professionals for their certification examinations. Additionally, he has built bachelor’s and master’s accounting degree programs and global professional accounting studies programs for senior level U.S. and internationally qualified CPAs. He also has led both for-profit and non-profit organizations executing on the strategic planning goals of boards of directors.
