Brady Ware (Un)defined

There is no single word that adequately reflects what it’s like to be a part of our team. What we do have, however, is an overriding belief that our people make us great. With four distinct offices and a wide range of clients, service areas and personalities, Brady Ware reflects its team members who make a difference to our clients and to each other every day.

Within each office across the Midwest and in the South, our people are our personality.

We have work-from-home flexibility, yet many team members maintain a regular presence in the office because we like being around each other.

We share good ideas, help each other learn, and quickly adjust to market conditions and client needs. We are entrepreneurs at heart.

We recognize and celebrate that we’re all different and each one of us has a valuable contribution to make.

From startup ideas to fun traditions to long-held beliefs in giving back to the communities we serve, here are some things that we think make us…well…us:

  • The Women’s Leadership Conference—founded by Brady Ware more than 10 years ago  continues to support and inspire women in business. (As does our internal Women’s Initiative.)
  • Sports teams rivalries and friendly sports pick-ems during March Madness, the college and pro NFL seasons, and even for in-office predictions (like when someone is going to finally organize their desk).
  • A team that serves on more than 21 boards and community involvement committees across our offices.
  • Community-support events like the Habitat for Humanity Women’s Build, Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl-a-thon, client-specific charitable support, and golf tournaments.
  • Innovative leaders who even started their own podcasts.
  • Donut breaks, cake-of-the-month, office lunches, happy hours, and many (often spontaneous) moments of appreciation.
  • Health and wellness activities throughout the year.

Development & Recognition

GREAT Employee Recognition

Our GREAT program celebrates and recognizes the incredible things (big and small) our employees do on a daily basis for our clients and each other. To help give more visibility to those people who demonstrate GREAT qualities, the pillars to our firm culture were formed around a yearly recognition program. Once a year, we ask our employees to nominate those who they believe best represent the qualities from GREAT. And, we recognize that individual with the firm and share their nominating story with everyone (while also communicating those who were nominated).

Learning & Development

Our learning and development (L&D) department helps our employees be their best while also nurturing their development at every level. Through CPE and non-CPE programming, Brady Ware’s L&D team helps employees enhance their skills and knowledge, stay up-to-date with evolving industry regulations and accounting standards, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Women’s Initiative

Once a year, timed with the Women’s Leadership Conference in Columbus, our female leaders host a day for the women of Brady Ware. Activities include team building and programming focused on helping the next generation of women leaders to grow personally and professionally. The inspiring day builds a supportive community and offers mentorship and networking to help the women of Brady Ware connect across the firm while developing their careers and breaking barriers.
